The rv/truck salesman would be the LAST person on earth to ask about towing/towable capabilities, they have one job, to sell to you whatever they can whether capable or not. I'd guess 99.9% don't...

One more time, dry rv weights & truck max tow weights mean ABSOLUTELY nothing when matching truck & rv.
Plus to compare a 1/2 ton V6 to a 3/4 diesel is comparing apples to cabbage, for rv towing...
