The converter on my 2016 Alpine can only be accessed by removing the center panel of the aft basement wall... Ours wasn't charging by any method, and it was discovered that both 40 amp reverse...

Another thing to check is the reverse polarity...
Another thing to check is the reverse polarity fuses on the power converter. I had a very similar event occur with my alpine. Plugged in to shore power, everything fine, all my 12v stuff not working....

I have a 2016 Alpine, and it's on the driver's side under the trailer, next to the spare. Very small white ball valve. Takes forever to drain, unlike my old TT that had a small blade valve.
