Yes, I do. Most should be regulated to 45PSI. This is recommend to prevent the plastic tubing from failing do to extreme water pressure in the campground water supply system.

I think it should be OK to use?
I would open up the water heater area or where the fresh water pump is. Look on the plastic tubing and see what the PSI rating is for on the tubing. I think my 2010 318SAB Cougar has tubing that is rated for < 300 PSI embossed on the side of the tubing.
Can not say for sure since the camper is at a storage lot right now.
We do not camp over holiday weekends to many people in the campgrounds for us.

The tubing used on the city water side of todays RVs is residential grade PEX and has a much wider range of pressure and temperature then trailers did in the past. But for old time sake I still use a regulator. Now if we can get manufacturers to start putting in residential fixtures, we'll have the best of both worlds. I am willing to add a little weight to have descent faucets and will replace them in time as I did in my last trailer. JM2¢, Hank

How much weight did they really save with these cheap plastic fixtures. Are household style faucets direct replacements?

Yes they are. The bath is a 4" center and the kitchen is an 8". My concern is in the kitchen the plastic sink may flex a little with the weight of a metal faucet. My old trailer had a heavier sink.

I replaced my kitchen faucet on my old Zep 281 with one of those single leaver pull out styles... it never harmed the sink at all. I will probably do it on the new one soon too.

I am a plumbing contractor for over 35 years and have installed probably a million feet of polybutylene (softer gray & black tubing color in older units) and pex tubing (mostly clear & red, blue color used in new units). It has different pressure ratings for different water temperatures. Most of the RV pumps create about 45 psi. I wouldn't use a regulator that is above 40 psi. The higher pressure is not needed and it will protect the fittings. The fittings are the weak point in RV's not the tubing. In the past I have replaced all factory fittings with residential/commercial grade fittings, they will never leak.

Hooking up to city water (order of componets)
1 - City Water Hose Supply
2 - Pressure Regulator
3 - Water Filter
4 - Trailer Water Connection

I bought one of those this week. Seems to do the job. Just be cognizant that it says they should be used for later model campers. If you do not have pex plastic pipe, I would be very carefull using one of these. IMHO.

Just a note for the newbies.. put the regulator on at the park tap end not where it goes into the RV
