Hey guys,

I have a 2013 Keystone Outback 312bh and I want to hook my Weber Q220 to the rear quick connect.

I have taken the regulator off the grill and attached the proper fittings like people have said. BUT, my flame still seems low and the grill only gets to around 380 degrees after 15 - 20 minutes.

I am at a loss right now. Any help or suggestions would be great!

Thanks guys,

Ty

We have a Q100 that in my opinion didn't get hot enough, especially when I put a hot plate on top for breakfast so I took the brass orifice out and used a acetylene torch tip cleaner and filed the hole a little, works great now. Assuming you are getting the proper gas flow and your still not happy with the flame, you might might to try what i did. Good Luck. Happy Campin..........Ron

Ron,

I appreciate the response but i guess I just figured the weber Q would be an easy conversion... I love the grill but really want to use the convenience of the rear quick connect.

Hopefully someone has answer otherwise I am gonna have to try out your suggestion.

What you did by removing the regulator from the grill is correct since the rv already has one. I think what I would do in put the regulator back on and try a bottle to see if that works. If it's about the same, then you might try out my idea.....Happy Campin...........Ron
