View Full Version : Air bubbles under front skin

:( For the past 3 months there have been air bubbles forming under the front skin of my 3018. Any one have a fix for this other than removing the entire skin?

That is probably not "air bubbles" but rather water infiltration from the roof. Quite possibly you have a leak at the roof/front wall seam and what you're seeing is a result of that water leakage. I'd get it back to the dealer for repair !!!! Since it's no longer under warranty (you may have an extended warranty or repair contract) If you're going to repair it yourself, the only way I know of doing it "right" is to remove the moldings, replace the front panel (it's a flat fiberglass sheet) and then reinstall the moldings making sure to use DICOR sealant and butyl tape to prevent recurrance. While the skin is off, do a very thorough check of the structural components under the skin, paying close attention to the floor and the side wall attaching points.
