Shower stall leak

Just noticed a water leak around the bottom of my shower basin in my 2010 Fuzion 405 TE II. Water seem to be coming from under the basin. Checked under the basin from the storage compartment and all seem dry under there. Checked in the basin and there doesn't seem to be any cracks there. Could the drain be leaking? Any one have any idea's or similar problem?

Check the seal around the drain in the bottom of the shower. Because some shower aren't very well supported there has been problems with the Drain cracking or maybe just not tight on the gasket. Other possibility, is water getting behind the faucet?

Been there. I found a damage crush washer on mine.

mine leaked as well- I pulled it apart and added some sealant. Sealant rated for PVC- because that is what the shower tube is made of. Most silicone sealant is not for pvc.

I had a similar event with our bumper pull. The trailer was just enough out of level that water was following the bottom of the shower surround and then down the edge of the shower base. I spent 30 minutes pulling panels and looking for the leak that appeared to be coming from under the tub.

I do not know what sort of shower surround, if any, you have but...

Is it possible it is NOT coming out from underneath? I had water around the bottom of my shower when I first got the RV and found that the seal that holds the glass side was leaking at the bottom when water sprayed on it directly. I applied a light coat of silicone on the inside coating the seal and the leak stopped.

Same analysis as DocData757. I saw the water repeatedly on the shakedown trip. I took the unit to the dealer to adjust under warranty all of the little stuff I found on that trip. They did the trick on the seal that holds the glass and I haven't had the problem since. It might not fix what joestaz is seeing, but it has worked for at least two of us.

Ours leaked in the same place as DocData757 & dspriggs easy fix once you find it.

I forgot one part. I believe the tub seal on mine leaked because the pipe on the drain is very ridge, and the shower base flexes some. So I added a fernco flexible coupling to the drain line. When all dry I put but son in the shower ( me under it) and could see the pipe move around as he moved in the shower. I believe the flex coupling to be the long term fix for me.

What is the trick on the seal that holds the glass in place? That is where my leak is.

I rubbed a thin coat of clear silicone caulk (bought in a tube from Home Depot) over the area. Been good for the last year and a half... so far.
