Solar Charger

I have installed a 15 watt solar panel w/controller to my TT and was wondering if I can leave the solar charger connected while connected to shore power or would I have to disconnect the solar prior to connecting to shore power?

My BatteryMINDer 15 watt system says to disconnect it when connecting any other charger. Although I do have a "charger" in the TT converter, I've never unplugged the solar when connecting TT to shore power for a few days. Still working great after many years, about 8 I think.
