Linda and I have been using my Montana 3585SA for about 3 months. Retired and full time.
We love it. Are currently at salmon harbor Oregon. Fantastic camp site.
My problem- Had a 7' ladder tied to the rear roof ladder. ( and a steel cable for security) backed into a sand bank while turning around in a dead end beach. A sand bank- how bad can that be. 20,000 lbs bad. So I need a new
replacement ladder for the Montana. Can't get a return call from my dealer.
They would have to order it anyway.
Any ideas where I might get one?

Thanks
Lonnie & Linda

How bad can backing into a sand bank be? You found out the hard way. In answer to your question about a replacement ladder..........If you are near a Camping World outlet, they have a "Universal Ladder" selling for $80 (Club Member price) and of course you pay extra for shipping and installation. If you are handy, you should be able to do the install yourself. Getting one that has the same hole line-up as the one you "bent" would be good --- not sure how much, if any, damage was done to the rear wall. Screws might have been torn out and done some damage to the fiberglass. You can Google RV Roof Ladder and you will find numerous hits of places where you can buy one. Good luck in your search for a replacement and installation. Keep in touch to let us know how you made out.

If your dealer won't return your call I'd keep that in mind the next time you want to buy something. Is there another Keystone dealer you can try? Personally I'd go with the direct fit ladder for your rig over a universal one.

I agree with you. A replacement ladder has to be the same as the factory one.
Unless the mounts are adjustable to reuse the existing holes. I don't want any holes in my new Montana.
