After having our new Laredo tt, we are exstatic! Our time and research truly did pay off. The only problem we had was our electric stabilizers kept blowing the factory 15amp fuses. Took the trailer back to the dealer and after they checked all wiring installed a 30amp as that is what should have been installed(so they say).

My fuse also blows quite a bit. I have the girls use one stabilizer at a time which helps, but not the answer. I'll have to investigate this a little. If it is a 30 amp then obviously that should fix it, but I'm not just going to throw a higher amp fuse either. Currently mine is a 15 amp.

Those 303tg are nice, but they were not out when I bought mine 2 years ago. Always something new out there.

I thought that seemed to be the easy way out for the dealer, but after checking the wiring to the motors and finding nothing, then checking the specs for the stabilizers, this is what they told me. I guess we will just use them as much as possible and if something goes wrong its covered under warrenty.

Welcome to the forum. I hear you on the 303. I'm loving ours more and more each day. It's a great TT with plenty of room and options. How has your experience towing it been. We are also pulling it with a 1/2 ton. Thank you fo sharing and happy camping. Look forward wo hearing more from you.

DTJ9610, towing is not a problem at all. We usually travel between 95-105 km/hr(sorry for the metric), and never have had a problem. Easily tackles any hills that we have encountered as well. The only thing I have changed is upgrading to a dual cam sway control from the old friction bar. I would get a bit of sway from big rigs on the highway and with the family in the truck I thought that upgrading to a more proactive sway controller was the way to go. Glad to hear you enjoy your 303 as well. Such a great trailer all around for those with families!!

Welcome We love ours:bdance:

Hey Tampacamper.... Touching base, just got back from a 5k mile trip up the east coast all the way to Bar Harbor, Maine towing our Laredo. Glad to say no problems, so I probably won't be running into you at Lazydays...we'll maybe, as the bedroom tv is not working as it should........Joe

What sway controller did you go with? I haven't had a big issue yet with my 303TG swaying but we do get some strong winds from time to time, especially if traveling up I-25 to northern CO or into WY. We pull with a 3/4 ton diesel because of the altitude and mountains. The 3/4 ton diesel pulled the 303TG with a full tank of water up through Eisenhower Tunnel (continental divide) easier than my old 1/2 ton gas truck pulled my popup trailer.

I installed the Reese Dual cam sway control, made the world of difference in towing. We just returned from Letchworth State Park in upstate NY, and had no sway issues while driving through Buffalo on the I90. Just had to mod the battery mount to accomodate the set up.

We love ours too except for the 45 issues gone wrong since April and every day its something else new. Glad someone got their moneys worth.
