Slideout canopy covers

What are the pro's and con's to adding slide canopy covers to a new unit? Is the added cost worth it?

Personally I wouldn't be without them. If you camp in wooded areas they are a God sent, keeps the leaves and pine needles of the top of the slides, therefore you don't have to get up on the roof and sweep them off before pulling in the slides. Some complain of the flapping and making noise in the wind, but we have never had that problem. Good luck
