Thor Recall Notice

Sort of a silly question but I'll ask anyway.

I am in FL and live primarily in TX. When we come here we just stop our mail and they hold it. I have subscribed to a service from the USPS where they scan the mail that I receive and send me a picture of the envelopes daily. Today I see an envelope from Thor Industries that states it's a recall notice on the front of it. Obviously I have no idea what's inside it.

Has anyone received one of these just recently and if so what did it pertain to? I figure I'll call Keystone Monday and give them the VIN and see what they can tell me but thought someone might already know. Thanks.

The recall is listed on the Keystone RV webpage http://www.keystonerv.com/customer-service/recalls-notifications

It's on many of the brands, I checked Cougar, Cougar High Country, Cougar Half-Ton and Cougar XLite and it's on all of those lists as a PDF file. The last one on each list. You can download it there if you want a hard copy.

Got mine today as well.

Just got mine in the mail today. If some of this snow melts tomorrow supposed to get some temp increase. I will go out and get into the Raptor to check/get numbers off my Kidde tank, which I think is required on the recall form. Will also give me an excuse to look around out there and do my monthly generator run.

Well, I thought mine was going to be the white Kidde extinguisher; turns out mine is a First Alert that looks just like it.....

Got ours last week. Need to go to storage to see which fire extinguisher is in ours..

Just called Kidde today to check on status, they said to give an average of twenty days after you fill out the form. We will see, not that the Raptor is going anyplace . Just snowed a few inches today again :nonono:

My replacement got delivered Thursday, about 5 business days after filling out the application online. Got it, called FedEx that evening to have the old one picked up (You have to call and get it picked up via prepaid tag because it is pressurized), and had the recalled one picked up by 1:00 Friday. Very smooth process.
