I got back from my last trip yesterday and winterized the trailer. I blew out the lines and put pink AF down the p-traps. I woke up in the middle of the night and realized that I forgot to run the water pump. I will need to go out to storage and run it. After I run it, do I need to blow the lines again? There would only be a small amount of residual water in the lines. I don't think it would be enough to fill lines up.

I took the batteries home, so I have no power. I'm hoping I can run the pump off of the truck via the 7-pin.

I don’t think the small amount of water will cause any damage in the lines. How about jumpers from truck battery to trailer for power?

If you have access to the water pump, disconnect the inlet side (from the fresh water tank) so that line will drain. While it's disconnected, run the pump and it will clear the water from the pump head. You'll only get about 1/8th cup of water from the pump head so it won't cause a problem "IF" your water line from the pump to the city water inlet is actually free of water. You might want to disconnect the water supply line from the outlet of the water pump and allow that to drain onto a towel as well.

If your pump is a FloJet pump, the inlet/outlet connections are a "slip-lock" style and pulling the blue slide will unlock the connection. Easy to do and you can leave it disconnected if you wish, or if you do reconnect it, a bit of silicone paste on the O-ring will help protect the O-rings from damage.

Plugging in the 7 way connector will provide power to operate the pump, but you'll probably need to leave the truck running or the ignition turned on since there's a relay that shuts power to the trailer charge line with the ignition turned off.

I've opened the area before to get to the pump. It's kind of a pain. I have to partially lift the bed to get to the screws that give access. It's a FloJet with slip-lock.

I don't think my truck (a RAM) has the relay, but I plan to leave it running.

Most people in my area don't winterize. It's rare to get temperatures below freezing for more than a couple of hours.

In-cap your low point drains then run the pump... Be sure to open all the faucets and push down and hold the toilet valve for a couple of minutes afterwards.. Then just leave the LP drain caps off for a couple of days..

I didn't want to lift the 30 gallon compressor into the bed of the truck.
