Yes, each would have to have its own passcode.

Actually, the answer is only yes with Adroid devices. Because of IOS(iPhone, iPad) bluetooth issues(security I think), only one of those devices may be connected at a time. Whichever is connected seems to reset some kind of security so no other IOS device previously paired can connect.

You are correct that only one device can connect at a time but multiple devices can be programed to run the system, makes no difference whether its an android or iPhone.
I know our phones were kinda hard to get connected the first time, had to do the Bluetooth search and scan several times before they would find each other.

It found the the second phone and paired but I couldn't get the two connected. My phone doesn't have a problem. We are using the IPhones
Thanks

There are several good youtube videos on the system that may answer some of you issues also.

From the manual:

"Switching Between Handheld Devices and Units
The JRVCS1 is able to have seven handheld devices paired to it at any given time(not including the DC). Three Android devices and one iOS device are able to be actively paired to each unit."

Edit: I guess this doesn't mean you can log in from all the devices at once but there is a difference between what the Adroid devices can do and IOS.

It will only allow one device at a time to control it. We found you have to delete that one for it to recognize another. :banghead:
