I have a 2010 Cougar X-Lite 27RLSWE TT that had the table and chairs and after 1 season we had it changed to the standard booth not the new U shaped. First nothing matched color wise and the bed is only 5'4" long and there is an 8" gap between the sofa and the back of the booth. We have been told that this is the way they came which makes no sense to make the bed so short and the cushions are too wide for the space and overlap. So I was wondering if there was any way to find out what size they were or are supposed to be or if anyone has one that they could measure. Thanks

Go to any Springdale dealer, look through trailers until you find the "conventional dinette. Measure and check cushion placement, then go home and compare. Chances are you have the conventional dinette, cushions from another dinette or some other mismatch.

Comparing apples to apples is about the only way to find out for sure, Keystone won't be much help, they didin't install it, the dealer did..... Who knows where he got his supplies to install in your trailer

It sounds like they might of had an oops on your dinette. A standard both dinette is usually 74". This might explain why your cushions are not fitting and you have a gap between your sofa and dinette. Does the table fit between your dinette seats or does it sit ontop of the seats? If it sits ontop of the seats then I would say they just set the one both in the wrong spot and should be an easy fix by taking the screws out and moving the dinette seat back that 8" - 10".

Windnut,

A standard-sized dinette booth doesn't make a full-length bed... ours is also 5' 4" long. If the booth seats were any further apart, the tabletop (when lowered) would be too narrow to reach the booth seats/frame to complete the center piece for the bed. From your description, I'm guessing that your booth is probably installed correctly.

It does sound like a potential "oooops!" by the dealer though, if there are mis-matched colors & incorrect cushions.

As for the gap between your booth & sofa -- although we have a Laredo, we have the same booth/sofa 'furniture arrangement' in the slide-out... there's about 3 inches of space at each end of our sofa - the sofa is centered in it's designated spot.

Here's some photos of your model showing the standard booth & cushion size.
