I am new to owning a TT, 2000 Bobcat 201T, so I have a question and would greatly appreciate any input.

I live in Wyoming and if you've ever visited you know the wind blows all the time here.
Well I received a phone call from the man who owns the storage facility I store my camper, he says I need to come down. I go to the facility and find the fiberglass panel was ripped half way down the camper with our 87mph winds the night before.
My problem is that I live in a small town and don't have many options on getting it fixed. I would like to patch the fiberglass but have no idea how to, or what to use.
Our local RV dealer wants $5,000 to fix it.

Please Help,

Courtney

If your panel has been ripped and there are no holes or missing pieces, the repair, while not an easy one for a novice, is doable.
I would suggest that, as a start, you do a Google search --- type in "Fiberglass repair" or "How to repair fiberglass" or something similar and you will find numerous sites that you can visit and get an idea of what might be involved.
Not sure what you have in the way of retail outlets where you live so obtaining supplies may not be readily available. There are plenty of on-line suppliers as well as any larger marine retailer ---- such as West Marine. They have a pretty extensive line of supplies which can be viewed in their catalogue.
Perhaps a visit to an automobile repair or body shop might also prove useful. Many of today's cars have plastic or fiberglass parts.

check your trailer insurance policy. Good chance it would be covered under the comprehensive portion.
