We have a 2001 Springdale 924HB. The problem I'm having is the batteries won't charge. With the ac power hooked up I checked the voltage at the fuses. The first six that power lights etc have 13.6 volts. The last three and the main lug show battery voltage of 10.8, same as the battery. The battery also shows no charge with the truck hooked up and running. We purchased the camper new and have been fighting this problem for several years. Thanks for any help you can give.

You might want to check the Specific Gravity of each cell on your batteries. The cells may be "dead" and won't accept or maintain a charge. Also, after they have been "charged up" by your TV and they still register as very low voltage, you might want to consider replacing them. If they have been in use when you purchased the Springdale (2001 ????) they are now at least 10 years old and probably need replacing regardless.

I purchased new batteries when this problem began in 2009. I charge them with my charger at home and hook them up to move the slide and run the pump, then recharge them when we get home.
If I hook a jumper wire (I know a bit risky) from the left side of the fuse bannel to the right, the battery charges fine but this would overcharge them.
There must be some type of regulator in the system somewhere. What I need is a wiring schematic to locate where some of these parts are and what the two systems (camper charging and truck charging) have in comin.
