Can anyone tell me if the brakes on my 2010 Sprinter are self adjusting or are they manual adjusted?

Did you get a manual from the axle manufacture describing the axles and the brake system on your camper? Here is a link to the Dexter Axle site, if you have Dexter Axles? http://dexteraxle.com/resource_library
I received a manual with my camper on the Dexter axles but I can not remember if they are self adjusting or not. The manual is in the camper and the camper is in storage.
I would still adjust the brakes myself every 6,000 miles. Because I feel that the camper is not backed up enough to keep the brakes in adjustment if equipped with the self adjusters on the brakes.

I know on our 2009 Sprinter we have Al-Ko axles and they are not the self adjusting brakes. I just check and readjust ours if needed in the spring when we get it out of storage and do our spring prep.

Never saw self adjusters on a trailer. If you think about how they work- the fact that you have to back up and apply more than normal braking for them to adjust- it would be a little dangerous. Should be an adjustment hole with a plastic/rubber cover on each backing plate.

Dexter makes some that are "never adjust" brakes and they adjust without having to back up. Here is a link so you can check them out.
