Avalanche & High Country

We are looking at replacing our current 5th wheel. We like the Avalanche but are a bit concerned about the fiberglass finish....No gel or High gloss finish. Like the High Country but can't find out what the Helium Technology is all about. One sales rep also told me that they were using Luan board. Luan is very cheap 'plywood'. Would like to talk to someone who has technical facts.

I just saw a video last night actually that talked about cougar high country helium technology on RV.net. The link is below. While it doesn't answer you luan question it does talk a bit about weight and design...
