Hi, I'm considering either an Outback, Laredo or Premier. I notice that for 2011, the Laredo and Outback now have the fiberglass front cap.

Are they still using Filon for the side walls or is it now Lamilux. Anyone have one of these new models?

Any other changes?

Sorry for the questions, but Keystone hasn't updated the "construction" section of their website yet. Floorplans have been updated and there are photos of the new models, but the contruction section still shows all the old features and specs and doesn't show the new fiberglass cap, etc.

Welcome IECamper,

We have a Laredo 5th wheel, but here's some info that might help --

Laredo Travel Trailer flyer (dated Nov 2010) - "Laminated, gel-coated Filon" walls.

Notice you have the struts on the front legs, was it worth the $. We use the locking chock for the axles, have been considering the struts.

Hi jje1960,

We have JT's Strongarms (front & back) & yes, we've been extremely pleased with them.

There's at least one other brand of stabilizers on the market now, which apparently works on the same/similar principle. Other forum members posted about them, here:

and

All that said - yes, we'd buy them again (one brand or the other). ;)

At least for the Outbacks, there are "new" 2011's and there are "old" 2011's. Not all the same!! We have an "old" 2011 Outback, it' the same front as 2010's with some other improvements over the 2010's . the "new" 2011's have the new front, bike reciever on back, curved interior ceiling etc. The "old" 2011's don't have these features.
