I am looking at changing my tv tires, they are factory p265/65r18. I want to keep this same size but looking at a stiffer side wall/ply. What tires do you guys/gals run on your 1/2 ton, I pull a 2650 bh passport,7200 gross. truck pulls it good, but I thought maybe a higher ply might give me a little more stability in the curves. any thoughts would be appreciated. :banghead: I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 LT.

I just installed a set of Cooper Discover AT3 and in the E load rating. The ride is stiffer in a good way and I am sure towing will be much less squishy. I went from Wrangler SRA's highway tread to the AT tread and honestly these are just as quiet.

I recently installed the Cooper Discoverer AT3, but P-Metric. I didn't want a stiffer ride, and *love* the Coopers. I don't notice any squishiness. It handles well enough in the curves as long as I keep my speed at or below posted.
