I can't say for sure what causes this but I can give you a link to a video from my homepage that goes through the complete operation of the range. This video was originally supplied by Hank Page (thanks Hank) and saved in SWF format to my homepage, give it about a minute or so to load and it should load and begin: http://eaa1358.com/Passport/Range/Gas%20Valve%20Operation.swf You can also save this video to your computer. You have to understand how it operates before you can fix it!

I have the same problem. its a bad pilot light, barely stays lit and when the temp of the oven is on low, and the burner cycles of to maintain the low oven temp, the pilot light would usually of died out and therefore the burner woulnt cycle on be cause the pilot was dead. when i set it to a high temp it takes a while for the oven to reach that temp so the burner doesnt shut down for a long time because it hasent reached temp so stove stays on longer. my dealer says its a bad pilot light assembly and thermostat. they are going to replace it in spring.

I understand that there is or soon will be a recall on this for late model stoves.

I have a 2010 Laredo 316RL that I am having the same issue with. I was told it was repaired and then when I went to use it on a camping trip the stove went out twice in 13 minutes. It sounds like they may need to replace my burner also.
