In the southern U.S. we're typically blessed with abundant sunshine year-round, but, as a result we're also aware of the of the sun's effects. Sun & heat can 'age' your tires!

Found this short article & thought I'd share... simply some food for thought.

Thanks Terri. Good info. We're north in Canada but it has been a hot summer here as well. I've always used 303 protectant on our tires and that is great for UV protection but I was unaware of the temperature factor.

KanTC, Interesting article, I always thought UV was the only culprit but the heat makes sense too. Thanks, Hank
