My basically new 2011 laredo has had more problems than I would like to admit to, but yesterday I tried to put out my slide room, and all I hear is the loud clicking. I have the trailer hooked up to shore power and all the fuses are fine. Any help anyone can give me would be appriciated

We had that happen with our 2010 Cougar and we used a drill bit on the manual crank and got it started with that and then the slide button worked fine. I think the slide had come of the track somehow and just needed help to get back on track. Shouldn't happen, but did.

We have the same problem with our bedroom slide....we used a rachett and 5/8 socket to get it started then it works fine. The problem starts if we get the slide in too far.

did you all have to cut a hole in the bottom of the trailer to reach the manual slide?

If you look at the underbelly of your TT, you may find that a cutout already exists for you to access the slide motor and manual crank. The cutout may simply be a "flap" cut on 3 sides and held up by a plastic tie or sheet metal screw.
If you can't find an access that is precut, the motor and crank will be at the far end of the slide (towards the middle) and in line with one of the geared/sprocket mechanism.

I'm sure yours isn't any different, but on my 2010, there is a cutout behind the steps for access to the motor. Also next to the steps facing the rear there is a rod with a nut on it to maually move the slide.

Thank you slimshadie, that is exactly what we needed. Just gave a little turn the the nut just to the left of my steps and now the slide works. Now I just need keystone to ship my new outside kitchen door to the dealer and my trailer will be fixed just in time to store it :)
