Sorry about my ignorance. Thanks...........

I haven't yet purchased my 1st trailer.
The floorplan I like is the Cougar 318SAB 5th wheel

From reading lots of posts about generators,
I am guessing TT's and 5th wheels don't come with a generator.

Is that correct?

I've seen the discussions on Honda, Yamaha, and others.

Most do not with a generator.

Optional extra.. this keeps the base price low... if you go with a genny your best bet is one of the new Honda 2000's (or 2 paired together).

Thanks for the info.

In addition to keeping base cost lower, I assumed that was they didn't come with a generator since preference in generator capacity differs from one person to the next.

Hi everyone, when i bought my 2011 327RES I told the salesman I wanted to have a generator but was concerned about the sliding rear bumber ability to hold it and the worry of someone stealing it. He took the time and trouble to help me look at generators and suggested the Honda EU2000i two of them and a parrell kit. This will give 4000 watts at 30 amps. The noise level is below National Park standard. I have yet to use them but am going out in the middle of Sep and plan to run them to test everything. Total cost for the whole system right at $2000.00. Each generator weight is 47 lb, I can store both of them in the front storage where my battery is. :D
