Hello

I have a young family and we are two years into RVing. We bought a '98 Viking Pop-up, July 4 09, and used it a bunch last year pulling it with my wife's Sienna. About a month ago we sold the pop-up and bought a '02 Keystone Cabana. We were hoping to to be able to pull it with her mini-van but her's is good for 3,000#. Instead we pull with my '03 F-350 V-10.

Thanks for being here and willing to share your knowledge with a newbe.

I look forward to seeing you around the fourm.

Keep in mind of the max towing capacity especially after the rig and tow vehicle is fully loaded. I thought I was good to go with my F-350 towing a 30' TT no problem right? Well, found out I blew the front seal on the factory transmission and was spewing tranmission every time I pulled the trailer. Ended up upgrading the transmission and now I don't even feel the trailer back there. Just make sure you have some extra room in the towing capacity so you don't get an unexpected problem.

 I'm not a Ford guy but I sure do hope an F350 can handle the 17' hybrid TT the OP was talking about without burning up a trans.

The F-350 will haul it with no problem. I was just trying give reference and ensure your vehicle will haul everything you are thinking, ie using the minivan.
