Hi,

We have our plans for Sequoia Nat'l Park (staying at Sequoia RV Ranch in Three Rivers) for 2 nights.

Then we will 'wing-it' on a site for Kings Canyon Nat'l Park for 3 nights,
hoping to get into a walk-in site at Azalea or Sunset CG within the park.

After that we want to go to Yosemite and YES, I KNOW you can't get a site at this late date. So, with that in mind, I checked into Yosemite Pines RV Resort which is 30 minutes from the entrance of Yosemite.

Has anyone stayed here?

OR, does anyone know of any drycamping areas just outside the park,
which would be the west entrance of the park, that we could go to? I
am researching now, but we plan to go there Wednesday, 6/16!

Thanks,

Jo

How long were you planning on staying? The KOA in West Yellowstone has openings from the 16th through thru the 18th

I have not stayed at Yosemite Pines RV Resort but you can see reviews by people that have stayed there by going here....

http://rvparkreviews.com/regions/California/Groveland.html#CGID347

....or go to http://rvparkreviews.com/ and scroll to California and then scroll to the city of Groveland and you'll find the reviews for this park.

Hope this helps.

We stayed at Yosemite Pines in 2008 and had a very pleasent stay. Full hookups, pool, laundry, WiFi, etc. They have fire rings too.

Now that we "FINALLY" have internet, I'll tell you what we did and what's been happening.

Stayed at Sequoia RV Ranch for Sequoia Nat'l Park.

Stayed inside Kings Canyon Nat'l Park at Sunset CG

and after that

Stayed at Mariposa County Fairgrounds, in Mariposa, to go to
Yosemite.

Now we are at The Garlic Farm RV Park in Gilroy, CA for 2
nights & then we're off to San Fran....

Traveling takes lots of planning. It is fun and work at the same time!

Thanks everyone,

Jo
