Picture 13 of 19 from Album axle and brake conversion
Side view of the trailer after completed axle/brake conversion, 1st time on the road. Months of calcs and layout to determine desired ride height. I was looking for 25'' from grade to the bottom of the existing I beam frame. Nailed it! It sits 3'' higher than when I purchased it. I installed big air lift airbags and a compressor/manifold system that allow me to adjust the pressures individually side to side. I felt if I used the larger volume air bags I could run them at a lower pressure than the smaller bags. It seems to me it would ride a little smoother. Using 23 psi gets the rig in it's sweet spot for the trailer/ TV combo to tow level.
